What have you used in your life that you thought would be a “quick fix to a problem?”
When is a time you have served someone in love? How about when you have been served in love by someone else?

Galatians 5:14. How do we ignore “Love your neighbor as yourself” and too often cling to “destroying one another?”
Read
Galatians 5:16-21. What is the Holy Spirit constantly fighting against? What can we do to make sure that we don’t give into the desires of our sinful nature (19-21)?

Galatians 1:3-4, the backdrop of the book, and really the whole New Testament, is laid out. This week take time to worship with the lyric video below and marvel in God’s rescue plan.

Lord, thank You for not only having a master plan to rescue me from my sin, but also to send Your Spirit here to all of us. Please, Father, help me to not follow the desires of my sinful nature, but rather to constantly search for the will of the Spirit in my life, producing fruit in which you will delight. Allow the Spirit to lead in every part of my life so that I can keep my eyes fixed on You. If there is someone this week that You are guiding me to serve in love, please open my eyes so I may see them and do your will. Thank you, Lord, for this time spent in Galatians and unleash me to impact Your kingdom in whatever way you see fit. I ask all these things in Your most Holy Name, Jesus. Amen.
